My name is Will MacDonald, and I'm from Grenada MS, I'm a senior at the University of Mississippi. Almost all of my mom's family is from the upstate of South Carolina (Pickens County), and most of my Civil War ancestors are from there. It's more than likely that my ggg-grandfather, William Mullinax, was a member of Co. H 22nd SCVI. Another ggg-grandfather, Benjamin L. Holder, was a Lt. in Co. F 1st SC Cavalry. (Benjamin Holder was the illegitimate son of none other than the famous Col. Benjamin Hagood, who was a well known member of the SC legislature and plantation owner from the Pickens District.)
I started reenacting in 2001 with Cleburne's, here in MS and have been to many good events out here in the West. I've been inactive for almost 3 years, but am starting up again.
