I am going to begin working on research for a paper for college soon that I also intend to make the nucleus for a book about the larger formations of South Carolina troops during the war. The first focus is going to be the infantry brigades, including the troops defending Charleston.
I'll be posting my research here, but I was also wondering if any of you had any sources in mind for me to check out?
