The majority of orginal South Carolina state buttons I have seen are all marked "Scovill Mfg. Co. Waterbury" on the back. Just curious if anything has been discovered on local makers and other varations to the design. Is there any documentation from the ranks on buttons? I have included some images of two buttons (front and back) which vary considerable. Thanks.
