Hey all
My name is Hampton Cokeley and I have been involved in this whole civil war living history thing for 8 years. I volunteered at Pamplin historical park and I have done a bunch of presentations for schools. I play the fife and a little bit of the snare drum and I also have a federal, confederate mid war/late war, and civilian/early war confederate impression.
I will be attending The Citadel this fall and seeing as I will be a knob, I wont be reenacting (or leaving the campus) that much, but I look forward to attending some different events in South Carolina.
Respectfully,
Hampton Cokeley

Thank you,
I sort of worry about myself when it comes to authenticity. The quality of events that I usually attend in West Virginia and Ohio usually arent that great but I see them as an oppurtunity to spread the "gospel" and put on a good show/get more one on one time with the spectators. I have never actually been to a total immersion event. I usually go to New Market, Gettysburg, numerous fairs and civil war days, the mainstream rich mountain. Nothing too fancy.
Once again, thank you for the welcome.
And I think I will be free from most hazing and restriction after my freshman (knob) year, so I will be able to attend more events.

Hampton! Congrats on making it to The Citadel. You definitely need to hook up with the TB! We miss you up here in the mess, but are proud to see you at The Citadel. We'll meet up again at future events.
Brian,
Grab hold of this kid and teach him a few things. He's got a great kit! He just needs to see the southern side of things, Palmetto Style!!!
