I usually wouldnt post this on this forum, but this is a special occasion, the Edisto chapter of the SCV is doing a Cross of Honor ceremony on Saturday May 22nd at Magnolia Cemetary at 11am. The reason I am posting this here is that the Edisto chapter does not have any re-enactors associated with it, they have sent out a call to re-enactor companies in the area for volunteers for a honor guard, IF your interested and IF you have the time and IF you want to do this, it would be good for the cause in remembering our southern heros who paid the ultimate price for freedom
IF I wasnt going to be in Winchester, VA that Saturday I would be there but I am already commited to a event there

I had already promised the Supreme Household Commander sometime on Satruday, so I can't make this either. You are more than welcomed to make posts or announcements like this (ceremonies, events, lectures, etc.) in the future. Thanks for letting us know Dan.
