Fellas,
I am trying to find out what coats/jackets would have been worn at Battery Wagner by the 1st S.C. Inf. Battn. I visited the Confederate Museum, at Market Hall here in Chas, to see the coat belonging to Pvt. Samuel Tupper Hyde. Did they wear this at the battle? For those of you who havent seen the coat it is a dbl breated frock. Blue cuffs and collar. Jeans wool? and State Seal buttons.
Any help would be great. Unfortunatley there is no photo and one cannot be taken of the coat.
Thanks
